on a cooking list i belong to a tried and true recipe is to place enough foil down to completely seal ham, pour about 1/2 cup of either ginger ale or coke over it and seal. cook for the amount of time specified. this is great. nice moist ham with no weird glaze tasteI need the best recipe for an 18lb. cook-before eating smoked ham. Just bake it with nothing on it. The smoked flavor is all you need.
